The Little Turtle Poem

The Little Turtle Poem
written by Jessica Lorraine Santiago
Little turtle rushing to meet the sea
Broke out of your shell, you’re now free
Little turtle on a long journey
Enbrace the waves, follow your destiny
Little turtle searching for that place
Where time stands still and everyone stays
Little turtle, have you found a home?
For you are loved and never alone.
Little turtle, nurse your broken heart
For there’s no going back to the start.
Little turtle, drowing in an ocean of pain
Let your tears wash away with the rain
Little turtle, aren’t you getting tired
Pretending you really never died inside?
Little turtle, stop reaching for the sun.
In her eyes, you belong in the ocean.
Little turtle lost at sea,
Rise above your misery.
Little turtle lost at sea,
Remember how it used to be.
Little turtle lost at sea,
You will be found… maybe.
I love this poem. It is from Way Back Home movies :) Way Back Home movies is all about family, love and losing and finding the love in one thoughts. Way Back Home is the movie that tells about Jessica Santiago (Julia Montes) and Ana Bartolome (Kathryn Bernardo) are two sisters who have lived in separate lives for 12 long years. Jessie, though an excellent student, has grown to feel sorrow of Ana’s lost while Ana, not knowing that she’s an orphan, grew up in a far-flung fishing village. When they meet in a swimming competition, the Santiagos exert effort to bring Ana back. But when Ana returns home, Jessie feels more abandoned & lovelorn. With their relationship turning sour, Jessie’s life is terribly put in danger. In the end, the two sisters find home where their hearts truly lie.
